Vijaya Raghunathan, Head of Enterprise Risk and Audit Technology-Truist Financial Services
Vijaya Raghunathan is an IT executive with expertise in Finance, including Banking and Mortgage industries. In her current role, she heads Risk/Audit technology delivery at Truist. Her team builds and supports all the technology solutions used by our CRO (Chief Risk Officer) and CAO (Chief Audit Officer) organizations, while also building and supporting technology solutions for parts of the CLO (Chief Legal Officer), COO (Chief Operating Officer) and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) organizations. Her team supports technology needs for all 3 lines of defense. In her prior role, she served as the head of Mortgage Servicing Technology at Truist. Apart from leading the merger for her teams, one of the key initiatives that she led during that time was the migration of the user experience for Mortgage clients from a vendor based disjoint system to SunTrust's OLB, making a seamless client experience. This was a key reason for the JD Power scores for SunTrust (now Truist) to jump from #10 to #4 that year. Vijaya was the winner of the software engineering leader of the year award as well as community impact award from WomenTech in 2024.
