Bio
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Shijuade was the Global Director of Diversity Strategy at Snap, Inc., supporting the global workforce in the areas of DEI goal-setting and implementation, learning and development, people and culture, and operationalizing DEI across the company for meaningful change.She centers her approach from an unapologetic Black, queer, feminist perspective, believing that when all of those needs are engaged and addressed, all will benefit from the outcome. Shijuade has worked with all levels of government, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, as well as corporate entities and is an expert in DEI.
