Session: Lessons in Leadership for the AI Era
Leadership is not reserved for the naturally charismatic or those who command attention in a room. It can be learned, cultivated, and adapted to who you are. In this session, I will share my journey from being a quiet, analytical observer to earning one of Microsoft’s highest honors, the Pinnacle Award, given to fewer than 30 employees annually for their impact on business, people, and culture.
Drawing from my leadership experience across Microsoft’s biggest enterprise products—including Dynamics 365, Microsoft Viva, and Microsoft Copilot for Sales—I’ll explore how leadership principles like Creating Clarity, Generating Energy, and Delivering Success have helped me and my teams thrive. These principles are not just corporate philosophies; they are powerful frameworks that can help anyone, at any stage of their career, elevate their leadership impact.
With the rapid transformation brought by AI, leadership in today’s world requires adaptive strategies, experimentation, and a mindset of continuous learning. I will share 10 practical, proven leadership tools and mindsets—including OKRs for clarity, team ethos for culture, and adaptive leadership for AI-driven change—that will help you navigate uncertainty, inspire teams, and drive meaningful impact.
Whether you are an aspiring leader who never saw yourself in the role or an experienced one looking for fresh insights, this talk will provide tangible strategies to expand your leadership toolkit and shape your unique leadership style—one that aligns with who you truly are.
