This talk will be an overview of the challenges of building the AI accelerators that are in extensive for generative AI, recommendation systems, use by openAI, Anthropic and other generative AI models that are in every day use.
Bio
Anat Heilper is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of industry experience and a decade specializing in AI accelerator architecture. As Director of Software & Systems Architecture for AI at Intel, Anat has driven innovation in large-scale AI infrastructure, leading cross-regional teams and delivering solutions that have achieved significant efficiency gains for next-generation language models. She is recognized for her expertise in HW/SW/algorithm integration, holding multiple patents in AI optimization, and for her hands-on approach to both technical strategy and team leadership-mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction for organizations of 80+ engineers.
Anat’s career spans Fortune 500 collaborations, founding technical leadership at a data analytics startup, and development of industry-leading AI accelerators deployed at scale. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, an Intel Achievement Award recipient, and an active mentor and advocate for women in technology, designing and teaching workshops and supporting engineering communities. Anat holds a BSc in Computer Science (cum laude) from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
